  14. I have a Monterey 1442PC V.32bis.  With Pipeline I have been using the 
  15. init string of:  AT&F&K3\N3\Q3 without connection problems.  I am 
  16. switching to a new ISP with 33.6 Sportsters and have tried everything the 
  17. tech could come up with and I get a "no carrier" message.  BTW the tech 
  18. said he would contact USR but it would be 3 or more days til he would get 
  19. an E-mail reply.  I've been reading (and learning from) this NG for 
  20. months and now it's me that needs a hand.  If I didn't include enough 
  21. info please let me know.  Since I'm new at setting up modems I may not 
  22. have been specific enough.
